Farm Visits & Animal Connections
Bear ‘N Bee is a family run interactive hobby farm located in the Highlands on Vancouver Island, about 15 minutes from Victoria. Book a time to join us for 1.5 hours during Farm Visits to meet the animals, play on the farm, and have a picnic. Opportunities with animals include petting, brushing & feedings. We’re sorry but we do not offer animal rides. We ask that you pack out what you bring in as much as possible. Thank you!
Child and Family Programs
Come explore the farm with your little one! Parent/Caregiver and tot farm program (Ages 0-5) led by Child and Youth Care Practitioner Jessica Duncan and Michelle Wagner. These offerings will provide you with the opportunity to build connection with animals & others in your community while allowing your child to play, build social skills, feel purposeful, and cultivate a sense of nature awareness.
All caregivers welcome, expect dirty hands!
Land Learners (for homeschool families- all ages)
Farm Friends After-school program (Ages 6-12). Read info below. Program is full- email for the waitlist.
Private
Bookings & Birthdays
Private offerings for groups and one-to-one to accommodate those with specific needs or requests, such as group homes, seniors, and local organizations that serve the community
We host birthday parties and private gatherings. We can also accommodate field trips for organizations, schools, daycares, ect.
The farm is wheelchair accessible and accommodating to all abilities.
